Maib donated over five million lei to support the Ukrainian people

Maib continues to support Ukrainian citizens and refugees in the Republic of Moldova monthly because of the war in the neighbouring country.

In October, the donation of the largest bank in the country to the special account opened by the Government of the Republic of Moldova amounted to 584,044 lei, 32,840 lei. Maib customers and employees donated the money to the "Help Ukraine" special account through maibank and at self-service terminals, and 551,204 lei constitute the amount related to transactions made with maib cards.

This donation, together with those from the previous months, totals 5,583,624 lei, an amount as impressive as it is essential for Ukrainian refugees.

The bank urges maib cardholders who want to support this initiative to make as many payments and transactions with the cards as possible, thus contributing to the common goal of helping Ukrainian citizens and refugees on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. We remind you that every month the bank transfers a fixed amount for each transaction made with a debit or credit card issued by maib and for each payment made at any POS terminal and in the e-commerce network.

Maib – we stand with Ukraine!
