Maib launches the second edition of the internship program for students from all over the country

After the success of the first edition of the internship program "Paid Internships" launched by maib, the company is starting registrations for the second edition, which promises to be even more exciting, innovative and rich in opportunities for youth. The project is for students from all parts of the country, who have good and very good academic results and want to start a career in a company that aligns with international standards, developing the country's banking sector and society. 

The second edition offers to students internships in six departments of the bank: Treasury, Strategic Planning and Budget, Accounting and Finance, General Finance, Finance Automation and Digitization, and Human Resources. The internship program will take place in the bank ‘s subdivisions of the central office in Chisinau. Travel expenses will be covered by the students themselves.

The maib internship program includes several benefits for enrolled students. During six months, trained in activities 3-4 hours daily, students will have the opportunity to participate in professional and personal development trainings, to generate and propose ideas for the development and improvement of various internal processes, to understand the principles of the activity in agile style, as well as to apply in practice the most valuable knowledge they have accumulated during the years of study.

In addition to the fact that they will participate in training sessions, the students are also guaranteed a monthly scholarship worth 2000 MDL, which they will receive on the bank card issued free of charge by maib. Furthermore, after completing the internship program, the best young people will have the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, so that they can brilliantly combine studies and work.

Registrations for the second edition of the internship program are already available online on the website https://student.maib.md/ro
and will be opened until September 15. All accredited universities in the country and the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance participate in the program, with the possibility to enroll:

  • - students of the last year of studies, bachelor's degree, full-time and part-time studies;
  • - students of the first or second year of studies, master's degree, full-time and part-time studies;
  • - students of the last year of studies at the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance.

Between September 16 and 25, the bank's project team will organize interviews with the selected students. For some internship fields, the participants will have to solve a task proposed by the project team. The final list of those who will benefit from a paid internship at maib will be announced on September 26 on the website https://student.maib.md/ro
and on the social media pages. The finalists will be designated based on academic results, presentation during the interview and the results of the proposed tasks.

The end of the internship program will be acomplished with the elaboration and presentation of some group projects. The best project will be presented to the maib management team, with the possibility of further implementation. The regulations of the internship program are available here.
