Moldtelecom denies reports of fixed-line telephone tariff increases

While commenting on reports in the media that fixed-line telephone tariffs would more than double, from 40 to 90 lei per month, Moldtelecom stated that it had no plans to double its tariffs. The company clarified that it provides fixed-line services using two technologies: Cupru (PSTN) with a standard subscription fee of 40 lei per month, and SIP (fixed-line telephony over IP protocol) for subscribers who also have Moldtelecom fixed-line internet or television, at a cost of 10 lei per month.
