This was announced by the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba, noting that in January-July 2024, Moldova exported about 7 thousand 335 tons of walnuts to the EU market, which is 94.7% more than in the same period last year (3 thousand 768 tons). The top EU countries to which Moldova exports walnuts include: Germany – 61.7% (of the total volume), Romania – 9.4%, France – 8.7%. “This remarkable leap reflects not only the quality of our products, but also the hard work of our farmers.
