Today, Felicia Group has a network of 300 pharmacies across the country, giving it a leading position in retail. 15.03.2024

This was reported by Dorian Berdos, owner of Felicia Group, in an interview with the newspaper "Economic Review". Thus, the Farmacia Felicia network consists of 165 pharmacies, which are located mainly in Chisinau and large district centers. Salu" discounters operate in the regions, with 45 low-price pharmacies. The Peon-Farm chain has 90 pharmacies, located mainly in rural areas. Optica Felicia has 16 specialized salons concentrated in major cities of the country. Another asset of the company - wholesale division, RihPanGalPharma - does not require expansion yet. Thanks to automation, optimization of work processes and implementation of new software, according to Berdos, the wholesale division is coping with growing volumes and tasks. The group chief noted that since the latest asset expansion - the Peon-Farm acquisition was completed in the spring - the total number of employees exceeds 1,500. He noted that the company, like the entire healthcare sector, is experiencing a shortage of staff. To address this problem, Start Frumos was launched in 2021, under which student pharmacists are supported by Felicia - full payment for 5 years of training, followed by internship and employment with the company. In two years, 88 students have been enrolled in the program. Dorian Berdos also highlighted another social component of his pharma business - Felicia Eco. This is a national project to collect and destroy expired medicines, plastic from under dermatocosmetics and obsolete medical equipment. It has opened 11 collection points for such waste and disposed of over 12 tons of expired medicines collected from the public across the country. The publication notes that Farmacia Felicia is the first pharmaceutical chain in Moldova, which was opened in 1997 by entrepreneur Dorian Berdos, the sole owner of the business. The capital of the company is 100% of local origin. The structure includes a wholesale division and a pharmacy network. Since 2021, the company has become a pharmaceutical holding company with two new chains of pharmacies (Salut and Peon) and two European standard wholesale warehouses. The assortment ranges up to 15 thousand items. The group's sales in 2023 exceeded 3 billion lei, and Felicia Group's share in the Moldovan pharmaceutical market is 25%. // 15.03.2024 - InfoMarket.
