As announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Ludmila Catlabuga, the Ministry of Agriculture is working closely with the Ministry of Finance to develop mechanisms to support farmers in the short, medium, and long term. The main focus is on identifying financial instruments that could mitigate the impact of price increases on farmers in the context of increased fuel demand for land preparation, sowing, and crop care. Among the solutions being considered are the refund of excise duties on diesel fuel used in agriculture and the adjustment of VAT management mechanisms. These measures...
