According to the data of the National Bureau of Grapes and Wine, cited by the weekly Economic Review - Logos Press, in January-September of this year, 32.5 million liters of bottled wines were exported for 1 billion lei, which is 3 million liters (10.4 %) more in physical terms and by 56.3 million lei (5.9%) higher than in value terms. However, for 9 months this year bulk wine supplies amounted to 66.5 million liters (-17.4%, compared to the same period in 2019) in the amount of 610.4 million lei (-21.2%). For bottled wines (in kind) for 9 months months the main export market for Moldova was Romania, where this product was supplied in the amount of 4.9 million liters (+ 29.6%). The top 5 also includes Poland - 3.9 million liters (+ 2.1%), the Czech Republic - 3.83 million liters (+ 5%), Russia - 3.8 million liters (-6.9%) and Belarus - 2.6 million liters (+ 126.9%). In monetary terms, the order of the countries in the TOP-5 remains the same. For the export of wine in bulk, 5 main markets for Moldova for 9 months 2020 looks like this: Belarus - 27.9 million liters (-23.9%), Georgia / Abkhazia - 13.3 million liters (-12.4%), Romania - 5.4 million liters (+ 169%), Great Britain - 4.2 million liters (+ 7.6%), Russia - 4.1 million liters (-68.8%). In the TOP countries by cost - the same countries go in the same sequence. In January-September 2020, there were also dispatched divins (in bottles and in bulk) 2.4 million liters of absolute alcohol worth 275 million lei, which is 14.3% more in physical terms, but 1.6% less in value. The main markets for bottled Moldovan divins are Belarus (+ 288.3% in physical terms), Ukraine (-47.5%), Estonia (-0.6%), Russia (-58%), Georgia / Abkhazia (-11 %).
