The EBRD has invested more than €2.8 billion in 188 projects in Moldova since the start of its activities in the country

This was discussed during a meeting between Finance Minister Andrian Gavrilita and Giuseppe Grimaldi, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's office in Moldova. According to the Ministry of Finance, the parties discussed current projects implemented with the support of the EBRD, as well as issues related to their implementation. The meeting also considered prospects for cooperation under the Growth Plan. The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation aimed at supporting institutional and economic reforms in our country. As noted, since the beginning of its activities in Moldova in 1992, the EBRD has invested more than €2.8 billion in 188 projects. Currently, 67 EBRD-financed projects are being implemented in Moldova, with a total value of over €1 billion, covering the areas of finance and banking, infrastructure, agribusiness, etc. // 09.12.2025 - InfoMarket
