The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) launched the 3rd edition of the“School of Modern Finance” program

According to the NBM message, it is designed for master's and final year undergraduate students of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM). The program is carried out in cooperation with the National Bank of Romania (NBR) and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) and is aimed at contributing to the training of future specialists-economists from Moldova, offering young people learning opportunities that surpass the experience they have had so far, the possibility to study the financial field from a new view point. The program will take place from September 14 to 22. The 19 participants, selected after the contest, will be able to participate in specialized debates and lectures, which will be given by representatives of the financial and banking sector from Romania. The educational program will be combined with a cultural and historical program planned in representative cities such as Iasi, Brasov, Suceava and Sinaia. As NBM notes, the active participation in the program of the National Bank of Romania and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) demonstrates a strong commitment to support the development of young economists from Moldova, facilitating their access to knowledge and modern practices in the financial and banking sector. Before leaving, Anca Dragu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, addressed a message to the young people: “You are here because of your ambition and desire to learn, and this gives me great confidence in Moldova's future: you are the professionals of tomorrow, you will continue to build a prosperous society based on the criteria of stability and sustainable development”. Anca Dragu also urged the participants of the program to benefit from every moment of this experience. “The program offers you not only the opportunity to learn, but also the advantage of becoming ambassadors of financial education in the communities you come from. You are the ones who will bring change!” she stated. The goal of the School of Modern Finance program - to foster the development of a new generation of professionals capable of supporting the consolidation of the economic sector and promoting financial inclusion. Following the events, the participants will receive a certificate signed by the Governors of NBM and NBR, as well as the Rectors of ASE and ASEM. Thanks to this experience, the young participants not only chart their professional future, but also prepare to contribute to the growth of the national economy. // 16.09.2024 - InfoMarket.
