Prima Casă Plus from maib – invest in a secure future for your family

Imagine the joy of opening the door to your home- a place where you'll create memories and plan a future just as you envision it. With maib by your side, your dream can become a reality. Explore the new program, "Prima Casă Plus", designed especially for you.
Whether you're buying your first home or need a new, more spacious one, the "Prima Casă Plus" program offers a range of benefits, making the purchasing process as convenient and swift as possible. This initiative is based on a government project aimed at helping everyone in Moldova procure a home.
Here's what's new within the "Prima Casă Plus" program and the benefits it offers:

New opportunities for self-employed and legal professionals
For the first time, the program is also open to self-employed individuals, including lawyers, bailiffs, mediators, taxi drivers, artists, and many others. With this expansion, more people will have access to the program's benefits.

Increased loan amount
The maximum loan limit has been significantly increased from 1 million MDL to 2.5 million MDL. This means more opportunities for young people dreaming of a modern and comfortable home, allowing you to choose a house that meets all your expectations.

Extended maximum loan term
The maximum loan period has been extended from 25 to 30 years, allowing you to benefit from lower and more affordable rates. This extended term allows for more manageable monthly payments, enabling your family to plan the budget more efficiently and enjoy greater financial comfort.

Higher state guarantee rate
For homes outside Chișinău, the guarantee rate increases from 50% to 70%. Families in rural areas can choose modern housing and contribute to the regions development, and the specialists in maib branches are ready to provide all the necessary support. In the Chisinau municipality, the guarantee rate remains at 50%, and for housing put into operation within 10 years of the application, the rate is 65%.

Simplified application process
We've made applying easier by removing the requirement for a certificate from the State Register Agency about your owned properties. This change cuts down on bureaucracy and speeds up the financing process for everyone.

Who can benefit, and under what conditions?
To be eligible, you must

  • - be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova
  • - be between 18 and 50 when applying for the loan.
  • - be officially employed in the public or private sector or be a professional with an income from official sources.

Please note that the income of family members is also considered. You can purchase your first home or, if you own a property, it must be smaller in size than the property purchased under the program or be located in a village/town.
We're thrilled to offer these new opportunities and are confident that the "Prima Casă Plus" program will bring a fresh perspective, contributing to a brighter future for everyone. Choose your modern home, and maib supports you with affordable conditions!
