Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Eugen Osmochescu, announced this during a working meeting with development partners organized by the Ministry as part of the continuation of the Donors Meeting event held on December 10, 2025. The purpose of today's meeting was to strengthen institutional dialogue, ensure continuity of cooperation, and align the support of development partners with the ministry's strategic priorities for the coming period. Discussions focused on strengthening coordination and cooperation in the implementation of priority reforms in the interests of economic development and a competitive business environment. During the meeting, Eugen Osmochescu presented the main institutional priorities and planned next steps, paying particular attention to the process of developing, reviewing, and updating the regulatory framework and debureaucratization applicable to various sectors of the economy, especially in the area of permits. According to him, in 2026, the policy promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization is aimed at increasing the transparency of the regulatory framework, reducing the administrative and regulatory burden on the business environment, as well as simplifying and digitizing authorization processes. The need to harmonize sectoral policies and regulatory mechanisms with EU legislation was emphasized.
