The Finance Ministry reported this, noting that March 19 is the last day of this subscription, and those who wish can still register on the platform www.evms.md and buy government bonds without intermediaries and commissions. The subscription is open to Moldovan citizens who have an account in one of the country's commercial banks and who have registered on the eVMS.md platform. The government securities (GS) subscriptions purchased within 10 days will be distributed to investors' portfolios on March 20. In particular, government bonds with a maturity of 1 year and an interest rate of 8% and government bonds with a maturity of 2 years and an interest rate of 8.15% are offered for subscription. The interest rate is fixed for both options and the nominal value of the bond is 100 lei. Interest is paid semi-annually. Income from investments in GS issued by the Ministry of Finance is not subject to taxation. This issue of government bonds is carried out in accordance with the calendar of GS placement sessions for the first quarter of 2025 and is the first this year, but the third in total, to be carried out through the eVMS platform.
