Digital skills to empower girls and women from Ukraine and Moldova 20.07.2022

Digital Course Program Begins August 1st
 
Girls and women who wish, including those from Ukraine, are invited to courses in the field of digital technologies to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for professional and entrepreneurial activities.
This program is designed to expand the economic opportunities of 100 participants from Ukraine and Moldova and is implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with the financial participation of Sweden, in partnership with the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC).
 
The program is like a university semester
 
The program includes four thematic courses. After completing one of the selected courses, the participants will receive the support of mentors to prepare for work on freelance platforms and promote their business ideas.
 
Directions and structure of courses:
 

Social media management, 5 training modules, total 16 lessons of 2 hours.

Software testing, 16 modules, total 30 lessons of 2 hours

Soft skills or social skills - a mentoring program of 10 modules, within which aspects related to communication, creative thinking, teamwork, as well as employment and entrepreneurship opportunities will be studied.

The duration of the program is 4 months. Classes will be held in a hybrid format in Russian, and will begin in August 2022.
 
To participate in the program, participants must:
be over 18 years of age;
speak English at an elementary or intermediate level;
have computer skills;
It is desirable to have a computer (PC or laptop), but not required.
Participants will take part in the following stages of the program:
Stage 1 - IT career guidance conference, during which participants will learn about new trends in the field of employment and receive recommendations on preparing a professional portfolio on online platforms;
Stage 2 - completing a practical course to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to master in-demand online professions;
Stage 3 is a mentoring program to prepare for work.
