As InfoMarket agency was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, the export of domestic goods for 10 months 2020 amounted to $ 1 billion 537.2 million (76.7% of the total), a decrease of 5.7% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the re-export of goods in January-October 2020 amounted to $ 467.7 million (23.3% of the total), which is 29.6% less than in the same period of 2019. Herewith, the re-export of goods after processing (clothes, shoes, shoe parts, chairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, peeled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textiles, toys, etc.) accounted for 17% of total exports, while classic re-export of foreign goods (medicines, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fuel, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, etc.) - 6.3 %. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad in this period, motor transport was most often used - 88.1% of the total volume, followed by sea transport - 6.9%, rail - 2.9%, air - 2%, postal - 0.1%. In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in January-October 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, decreased by 8.3% - to $ 1.3 billion, to the CIS countries - decreased by 14% - to $ 305.1 million, and to other countries - decreased by 24.9% - to $ 359.3 million.The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period increased from 63.69% to 66.86%, the share of CIS countries - decreased from 15.46% to 15.22%, while the share of other countries decreased from 20.85% to 17.92%.
