As InfoMarket agency was informed in the NBM, in particular, the volume of cash withdrawn from bank cards issued in Moldova in January-March 2021, in comparison with the same period of the previous year, increased by 9.3% - up to 13 billion 746.2 million lei, and the volume of non-cash payments increased by 41.5% - up to 6 billion 892.6 million lei. Herewith, the volume of non-cash payments in the banks' own network (on-us) increased by 63.3% - from 1 billion 621.5 million to 2 billion 648.7 million lei; in the network of other banks of the Republic of Moldova - increased by 56.2% - from 1 billion 685.6 million to 2 billion 632.5 million lei; abroad - increased by 3.1% - from 1 billion 563.5 million to 1 billion 611.4 million lei. According to the NBM, the volume of non-cash payments with the physical presence of a card in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by almost 45% - from 2 billion 694.9 million to 3 billion 906.5 million lei; without the physical presence of the card, through e-commerce platforms - increased by 25.1% - from 1 billion 164.1 million to 1 billion 456.4 million lei; without the physical presence of the card, through automated remote service systems - increased 1.6 times - from 830.5 million to 1 billion 332.7 million lei. Meanwhile, the volume of cash withdrawals in the banks' own network (on-us) increased by 9.8% - from 11 billion 998.1 million to 13 billion 169.3 million lei; in the network of other banks of the Republic of Moldova - increased by 8.5% - from 397.03 million to 430.71 million lei, and abroad - decreased by 21.1% - from 185.5 million to 146.3 million lei. According to the NBM, in the first quarter of 2021, in comparison with the same period of the previous year, the volume of transactions carried out in Moldova using cards issued abroad increased by 23.1% - up to 2 billion 360 million lei.
