According to Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the current visit to Chisinau by European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos confirms the trusting partnership between Moldova and the European Union. “The progress achieved by Moldova has been noticed and appreciated by the EU, which allows us to move forward quickly in the accession process,” said Dorin Recean. According to him, the sum of €18.9 million is added to the €270 million advance already allocated this year. Moldova will receive up to €1.9 billion in grants and loans on preferential terms in 2025-2027. Marta Kos commended Moldova's rapid progress towards European integration. According to her, Moldova is sending a strong signal about its commitment to implementing the reforms necessary for economic growth and European integration. “At the same time, we encourage European investors to invest in Moldova, a country that is showing determination and making consistent efforts on the path to EU accession,” said Marta Kos.
