
By 2027, Moldova will create 100,000 new jobs, launch 5,000 new businesses, and support 25,000 small and medium-sized enterprises under the €1.9 billion Growth Plan backed by the EU
This was discussed during a meeting in Chisinau between Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos. According to the EU delegation to Moldova, the key topics they discussed were business development and attracting investment. The focus of the discussions was the €1.9 billion Growth Plan for Moldova. This is significant assistance from the EU, conditional on the continuation of democratic and economic reforms. Marta Kos noted the rapid pace of reforms in Moldova, emphasizing that they exceed the expectations of the European Union.
