Draft Public Administration Reform Strategy for 2023-2030 is submitted for public consultations, its implementation will require 160-250 million euros.

The draft strategy represents the government's vision for the transformation of central and local authorities in the context of EU accession and new social and economic realities. The strategy is aimed at implementing reforms in 5 components: management of public positions and civil servants; improvement of the institutional framework of the central public administration; strategic planning and development of state policies; debureaucratization and development of electronic services; local public administration. The goal of the strategy is an efficient, transparent and responsible central and local public administration capable of continuous improvement, which offers affordable and high-quality services to citizens and the business environment of Moldova, thus contributing to the well-being of society and strengthening social cohesion. The measures envisaged in the strategy will be implemented in two stages: 2023-2026 and 2027-2030. According to preliminary estimates, its implementation will require from 160 to 250 million lei, of which about 40 million euros will be allocated for the reform of the central public administration and 120-210 million euros for the reform of public administration at the territorial level. Consultations on the project will last until February 17.
