The contributions of the State Tax Service to the national public budget of Moldova in January-May 2022 amounted to 21.7 billion lei, exceeding by 3.6 billion lei (+20%) the figures for the same period in 2021.
This was reported by the State Tax Service, noting that, at the same time, tax revenues to the state budget of the country for 5 months of 2022 amounted to 9.8 billion lei, being higher than the same period of the previous year by 2 billion 045.1 million lei (+ 26.4%). Herewith, tax revenues to the budgets of administrative-territorial units in January-May 2022 amounted to 2.2 billion lei, which is 360.1 million lei (19.2%) more than in the same period of 2021. In January-May 2022, the state social insurance budget received taxes in the amount of more than 7.2 billion lei, which is 919 million lei (14.6%) more than in the same period a year earlier.
