The State Tax Service has established tax posts for 9 economic agents importing socially significant goods.
Such measures were taken following the results of inspections carried out by the State Tax Service for compliance with the procedure for setting prices and selling socially significant goods on the domestic market. According to the State Tax Service, for 5 months in 2022, inspectors conducted 303 operational tax inspections of economic agents that are engaged in retail trade, 19 factual inspections to inventory stocks of goods regulated by the state, as well as 12 partial or general inspections. As a result, it was revealed that 4 companies exceeded the trade markup when setting prices for socially significant goods. Five economic agents allowed deviations between the value of stocks recorded in accounting records and the value of real products in warehouses, resulting in an excess of 7.6 million lei and a shortage of a total of 2.2 million lei. Three enterprises exceeded trade allowances when selling socially significant products and received illegal income in the amount of 0.68 million lei. In addition, 4 economic agents erroneously indicated or did not indicate at all in their tax invoices the amount of the total trade markup set by the manufacturer or the purchase price, as a result of which the tax invoices were erroneously filled in, indicating goods worth 76.6 million lei. Based on the results of inspections, tax posts were established at 9 economic agents importing socially significant goods. This will eliminate errors and put things in order in compliance with the law in the formation of prices for goods of social significance. The State Tax Service notes that failure to indicate or incorrect indication by an economic entity-supplier in the invoice or tax invoice of the delivery price per unit, established by the economic agent-producer or importer, and the amount of the total trade markup entails a fine of up to 10% of the value of the transaction with socially important goods. In case of establishing illegal income by overestimating the cost price / trade price / trade markup, a fine of 100% of the amount of the established income is charged.// 06.06.2022 — InfoMarket.
