Moldova’s parliament has backed, in first reading, a package of amendments that would tighten criminal liability for legal entities and change how responsibility is handled after corporate reorganizations. The draft also introduces new sanctions and broader grounds for liability in several serious offenses, with the final wording still to be reviewed in the second reading.
