Of the 2,860 projects approved for funding, 1,477 have been completed, benefiting approximately 1.4 million people. Another 1,300 projects are currently underway, with a planned investment of approximately 3.05 billion lei. In August 2026 alone, over 115 million lei were allocated through the fund for 77 projects, and 39 were completed that month. As part of the first phase of the "European Village" program, 495 projects were implemented, and 380 under the "European Village Express" program. In the second phase of "European Village," 870 projects were approved, of which 352 have been completed. The "Europe Close By" program includes 353 projects; 130 of them have been completed, and another 226 are awaiting funding approval. Under the program to develop public daycare services, 37 projects were implemented during the first two phases, and another 99 projects are currently underway as part of the third phase. In addition, under the program to modernize restrooms in educational institutions, 60 projects have been completed, and another 19 are currently being implemented. Funding is allocated for the modernization of roads, water supply and sewer systems, street lighting, schools, and kindergartens; the improvement of parks and sports facilities; and the creation of new services for children and families.
