This is stated in the materials of the Ministry of Finance on obtaining external loans/grants to support the state budget for the first quarter of 2023. As noted, in particular, in January-March 2023, Moldova received loans for 25.85 million euros, which is equivalent to 532.85 million lei, and grants - in the amount of 291.64 million lei in equivalent. Thus, within the framework of the new program with the IMF, Moldova received on January 11 of this year a loan under the Extended Financing Facility (EFF) in the amount of 13.93 million euros (equivalent to 287.07 million lei) and a loan under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) in the amount of 11.92 million euros (equivalent to 245.78 million lei). At the same time, on March 17, Moldova received from the United Nations Development Program (contribution of Switzerland and Sweden to the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund) a grant of 283.29 million lei in equivalent and from the Czech government (contribution to the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund) a grant of 419.48 thousand euros (equivalent to 8.34 million lei). // 05.05.2023 — InfoMarket
