The income tax rate remained at the level of 7% when one individual leases real estate to another individual, and the same income tax rate applies to peasant farms. The tax on income from the sale of agricultural products to citizens and buyers, as well as the income tax rate on dividends, remained at the level of 6%. As in the previous year, income tax of 3% will be withheld from the financial income of individuals (on bank deposits, corporate securities, deposits held on personal accounts of members of savings and loan associations). The income tax rate on gambling winnings has been increased from 12% to 18% since January 1. The principles of withholding contributions to the compulsory social insurance fund and the compulsory medical insurance fund by the employer and employee have not changed either. For individuals who are not included in the category of payers of mandatory contributions to the state social insurance funds, the annual premium in a fixed amount is 12,838 lei for insurance on the basis of an individual agreement with the National Social Insurance House; for individuals-owners or tenants of agricultural land, cultivating land individually - 3,270 lei; for persons engaged in independent activities in the field of justice - 27,481 lei. The cost of the Compulsory health insurance policy in a fixed amount remained at the level of the previous year and amounts to 4056 lei per year, until the end of March, some categories of the population can purchase it at a discount.// 25.01.2022 — InfoMarket.
