The rating was compiled by the consulting company CS Global Partners based on an assessment of 5 main criteria relevant to wealthy people: security, economic opportunities, quality of life, global mobility and financial freedom. Moldova took 74th place in the ranking, while the country took the best place in the parameter "global mobility" - 54th line, and the worst - "security" - 86th place. According to the criterion "economic opportunities" Moldova ranked 72nd, "financial freedom" - 75th, "quality of life" - 81st. Moldova outperformed some CIS countries in the ranking, such as Kazakhstan (78th), Ukraine (80th), Russia (82nd), Belarus (88th), but lost to its neighbors - Romania (39th) and Bulgaria (44th). Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Canada, Iceland, Austria, Australia and Luxembourg are the best countries in the world for wealthy people in this year's ranking. The least attractive countries for rich people are Afghanistan, Congo, South Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, which took the last lines of the rating (countries are ranked in 158 places).
