This follows from the data on annual inflation for the last year, which was presented by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The NBS noted that in general, in 2021, food prices increased by an average of 17.46%. At the same time, as follows from the NBS data, in December 2021, compared to December 2020, the increase in prices for the following food products was more pronounced: potatoes - by 51.6%, vegetables - by 43.8%, sunflower oil - by 33.5%, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and other spices - by 23.5%, chicken eggs - by 22.5%, pork, beef and poultry - by 22.3%, 19.7% and 13.5%, respectively, fresh fish - by 21.7%, chocolate, chocolates and other cocoa products - by 20.3%, cereals - by 19.3%, butter - by 15.5%, bread from wheat flour - by 14.2%, corn flour - by 13.6%, milk and dairy products - by 13.4% (including whole milk and semi-skimmed milk - by 22% and 21.3%, respectively, sour cream and cream - by 14%, cottage cheese - by 12.7%, dairy products - by 9.8%, cheese and feta cheese - by 9.6%), sugar - by 11.6%, cookies, gingerbread - by 10.5%, wheat flour - by 7.6%, rice - by 7.1%, pasta - by 6.3%, rye bread and other types of bread - by 4.5%.
