The Law on the State Budget, the Law on the State Social Insurance Budget and the Law on Compulsory Medical Insurance Funds for 2022, promulgated by the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, were published in Monitorul Oficial. According to the Law on the State Budget for 2022, the revenues of the state budget next year will amount to 50 billion 066 million 602.7 thousand lei (+ 9.2% compared to 2021), the expenditure side - 65 billion 202 million 602.7 thousand lei (+ 13.1%), and the deficit will amount to 15 billion 136 million lei. About 93% of the revenues to the state budget will come in the form of taxes and duties - more than 46 billion 669 million 181.5 thousand lei. Grants in the overall structure will amount to over 1 billion 317.9 million lei (2.6%), and other revenues - 2 billion 062.5 million lei (4.2%). At the same time, of the total amount of state budget expenditures, about 33.5 billion lei (51.4%) are transfers to other budgets, and 48.6% will be the expenditures for the implementation of programs through the central public administration authorities. Expenditures for the implementation of projects financed from external sources are planned in 2022 in the amount of 5.4 billion lei (8.3% of the total state budget expenditures). In general, more than half of the expenditures will be directed to social protection, education, and health care. Herewith, the revenues and expenditures of the state social insurance budget in 2022 were approved in the amount of 31 billion 224.2 million lei, and will increase by 3.7 billion lei (+ 13.6%), compared with the approved indicators for 2021. The income and expenses of the compulsory health insurance funds in 2022 will amount to 12 billion 287.6 million lei, and compared to the previous year, revenues will increase by 10.3% (+1 billion 143.5 million lei), and expenses - by 8.3% (+943.5 million lei).
