The Ministry of Finance of Moldova ensured the fulfillment of all payment obligations for January-April 2021 and financed all planned payments.
This was reported in the financial department, noting that, according to the Law on Public Finance and Fiscal Responsibility, the priority is to fulfill obligations to service external and internal public debt, as well as to pay salaries, pensions and social benefits. The Ministry of Finance also confirmed that there are no risks of non-fulfillment of priority expenditures approved in the budget, given that the budget has sufficient resources and reasonable liquidity management is constantly ensured. “Effective management of public finances is a top priority for the Ministry of Finance, thus contributing to the achievement of the primary goal of overcoming the pandemic crisis and, accordingly, revitalizing the national economy,” the ministry said.// 06.05.2021 — InfoMarket
