This is stated in a new forecast report of the Vienna Institute for International Economic Research. It indicates that, according to experts, inflation in Moldova will progressively grow and in 2021 it will be 4%, in 2022 - 4.5%, and in 2023 - 5%. Herewith, the unemployment rate in our country is expected to decline, on the contrary, and will amount to 5% in 2021, 4% in 2022, 3% in 2023. In general, the Vienna Institute for International Economic Research provides its macroeconomic forecasts for 23 countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. According to the cited data, among these countries, the largest GDP growth this year is forecasted in Montenegro - 6.5%, Turkey - 5.8%, Serbia - 5%, Kosovo - 4.8%, Croatia - 4.5%, and the smallest - in Estonia - 1.2%, Belarus - 1.5%, Lithuania - 2.1%, Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina - 2.5% each.
