
Expenditures and deficit of the state budget of Moldova for 2021 will be increased by 532.9 million lei - up to 56.54 billion and 15.13 billion lei, respectively.
This is provided for by amendments to the Law on the 2021 State Budget, which the parliament adopted on Friday in the first reading to implement the previously approved bill on the compensation of tariffs for electricity used by household consumers during the state of emergency. For these purposes, 532 million 959.2 thousand lei should be allocated from the state budget, therefore, the authorities decided to increase the expenditure side and the state budget deficit by the indicated amount. In particular, the expenditure part of the state budget of Moldova for 2021 is planned to be increased by 532 million 959.2 thousand lei, or by 1% - from 56 billion 008 million 134.7 thousand lei to 56 billion 541 million 093.9 thousand lei, and also increase the state budget deficit by 532 million 959.2 thousand lei, or by 3.7% - from 14 billion 592 million 734.7 thousand to 15 billion 125 million 693.9 thousand lei.
