
The revenues of the state budget of Moldova in January-November 2020 amounted to 34 billion 164.3 million lei, which is 1 billion 762 million lei (4.9%) less than in the same period of 2019.
The Ministry of Finance informed that, at the same time, the expenditures of the state budget of Moldova for 11 months in 2020 amounted to 43 billion 434.7 million lei, having increased relative to the same period of the previous year by 5 billion 274.2 million lei (+ 13.8%). As a result, the deficit of the state budget of Moldova in January-November 2020 amounted to 9 billion 270.4 million lei, which is 4.1 times more than the indicator of the same period of 2019. According to the Ministry of Finance, in general, in the structure of income, receipts from taxes and duties for 11 months in 2020 amounted to 31 billion 771.6 million lei (in the same period a year earlier - 32 billion 586.1 million), receipts from grants - 466.8 million lei (in the same period a year earlier - 1 billion 499.6 million lei). According to the Ministry of Finance, the Customs Service (CS) traditionally brought the largest amounts of revenue to the treasury. In particular, the income provided by the CS in January-November 2020 amounted to 20 billion 120 million lei, having decreased by 483.5 million lei (-2.3%) compared to the same period in 2019. At the same time, incomes administered by the State Tax Service for 11 months in 2020 amounted to 14 billion 971.7 million lei, which is 350.1 million lei (2.3%) less than in the same period of the previous year. Revenues from projects financed from external sources in January-November 2020 amounted to 318.1 million lei against 304.5 million lei in the same period a year earlier, thus increasing by 13.6 million lei (+4.5%). Other revenues amounted to 1 billion 299.3 million lei, which is lower than the indicators of the same period of the previous year by 1 billion 008.6 million lei (-43.7%). VAT and excise taxes return by the Ministry of Finance over 11 months in 2020 amounted to 2 billion 544.8 million lei, which is 66.6 million lei (2.6%) less than in the same period a year earlier. // 05.01.2021 - InfoMarket.
