This was stated by the NBM Governor in her congratulatory message on the occasion of the Bank Employee Day and the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Bank of Moldova. She expressed gratitude to all those who contribute to the stability and development of Moldova's banking sector, stressing that this year's holiday comes at a moment of transformation of the whole country. “We are starting the process of accession to the European Union and the National Bank is the main pillar in many sections of the negotiations. We have implemented key reforms to improve financial services and support the national economy,” the NBM Governor said. In this context, she mentioned the launch of the MIA instant payment system, which ensures fast and efficient transactions for citizens and businesses. The head of the National Bank also recalled the application for Moldova's accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), which represents an important step towards the integration into the European payment area, bringing us closer to the advantages offered by the European Union. She said that all this was made possible thanks to the efforts of bankers, which are now necessary for Moldova's accession process to the European Union. “The projects we are implementing are vital for the country's future and you are the driving force behind these achievements.
