According to the data of the National Bank of Moldova, all 11 banks in the country made profit in 4 months of this year. At the same time, about 1 billion 033.1 million lei (about 90.04% of the total net profit) accounted for 4 banks: maib, Moldindconbank, OTP Bank and Victoriabank. Another 114.3 million lei of net profit was earned by the remaining 7 banks. At the same time, only 1 of the banks that made profit in January-April 2024 increased its volume compared to the same period of 2023, while 10 banks decreased it. As follows from the data provided by the National Bank of Moldova, in particular, in 4 months of 2024, the highest net profit was received by maib - 454.07 million lei (in January-April 2023 - 438.12 million lei), Moldindconbank - 276.02 million lei (406.59 million lei), OTP Bank - 196.08 million lei (275.89 million) and Victoriabank - 106.92 million lei (313.29 million).
