maib has announced the launch of a new issue of corporate bonds worth 100 million lei within the framework of its second program.
According to the bank's statement, the new bond subscription will be available for 20 calendar days, starting from April 15. Within the subscription, the bank provides future investors with 5,000 corporate bonds with a nominal value of 20 thousand lei per bond, while the "first come - first received" principle continues to apply. Also, maib reserves the right to close the offer early, in case of exhausting (subscription) the entire volume. Bonds circulation term is 3 years, coupon interest rate is floating, linked to the weighted average interest rate on new deposits attracted in national currency in the banking sector as a whole, with maturities from 6 to 12 months, published on the official website of NBM on the respective date before the first day of the offer period + fixed margin set for class V (0.5%). The interest payment periodicity is 12 times a year (monthly). This issue of maib corporate bonds is under the bank's announced Offering Program for the period 04.12.2023 - 04.12.2024. In total, maib plans to raise 1 billion lei through 10 bond issues of different classes with a value of 100 million lei each.
