
The total amount of loans issued by banks of Moldova at the end of April 2021 amounted to 47 billion 892.3 million lei, having increased over the month by 1 billion 249.2 million lei (+ 2.7%).
As InfoMarket agency was informed in the National Bank, at the same time, loans for trade (commercial loans) still prevail in the structure of the loan portfolio of Moldovan banks with a share of 22.8% of the total amount of loans. In particular, loans for trade at the end of April 2021 amounted to 10 billion 964.7 million lei (+ 3.3% compared to the previous month). Loans for the purchase or construction of real estate at the end of April 2021 were issued for 8 billion 651 million lei (+ 3.7%), consumer loans - for 8 billion 213.7 million lei (+ 4.6%), agricultural loans - by 3 billion 914.3 million lei (+ 0.3%), loans for the food industry - by 3 billion 355.2 million lei (-0.03%), industrial loans - by 2 billion 508.2 million lei (+ 2.9%). Loans in the provision of services amounted to 1 billion 978.7 million lei (+ 1.7%), loans in the field of transport, telecommunications and network development - 1 billion 761.8 million lei (-3%), loans to the non-banking financial sector - 1 billion 285 million lei (+ 3.5%), loans to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities - 1 billion 133.9 million lei (+ 6.5%), energy loans - 760.9 million lei (-17%), loans in the field of construction - 866.2 million lei (+ 8.4%).// 28.05.2021 — InfoMarket
