
Draft regulations on providing assistance for BRIDGE EXPORT export promotion activities submitted for public consultations
The draft regulations for the program, launched on August 13, were reviewed by the State Chancellery and, after public consultations, will be submitted to the Cabinet for approval. The support program, with a budget of 20 million lei, aims to stimulate the foreign trade activities of Moldovan enterprises by increasing the visibility of Moldovan goods and services on foreign markets and increasing export volumes. The document specifies the eligibility criteria for participation in the program, the package of documents, the procedure for submitting a grant application and its review by the beneficiary selection committee, the conditions for using the funds provided, etc. Only relevant associations that initiate a project involving at least three companies will be eligible to participate in this program. The Investment Agency will provide funding of up to 60% of the total eligible costs, but not less than 100,000 lei per association. The money will be paid in several installments: 60% within 30 days after signing the contract with the business association, 35% 30 days after the submission of the first progress report, and 5% 30 days after the submission of the final report. The funding can be used to participate in or organize local/international events to promote exports (exhibitions, festivals, international fairs, forums, specialized international conferences, etc.), as well as business missions, to develop marketing research and adapt strategies in line with international market requirements to promote exports, for advertising and marketing campaigns to promote exports (PR campaigns, preparation and publication of editorial articles, press tours, etc.), to increase export promotion potential (study visits, consulting services, etc.). Eligible expenses will also include the rental of premises, including exhibition space, PR and communication services, the rental of furniture and equipment for exhibition stands, etc. Beneficiary associations will be required to ensure the visibility of the country's brand in the context of the funded activities, use the country's brand in the preparation of exhibition materials, and promote project activities in the media.
