USAID is implementing a number of projects in Moldova to support economic growth, attract investment, and develop local businesses.
This was stated by the acting head of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Moldova, Zeinah Salahi, who, together with the USAID team, met with the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba. According to USAID, during the dialogue, was discussed the support provided by USAID to advance the reform program related to Moldova's European integration, including through the donation of equipment and technical assistance. It was emphasized that within the framework of the projects implemented by USAID in the field of economic growth, in partnership with the Government of Moldova, the United States contributes to the promotion of reforms in our country in the sectors of digitalization, information technology, finance, energy, agriculture, winemaking, and logistics.
