New regulated prices for electricity supply to Premier Energy customers became effective on October 14.
The new tariffs took effect upon the publication of the relevant decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) in Monitorul Oficial. In particular, for domestic consumers with electric installations connected to low-voltage (0.4 kW) distribution networks, the tariff increased by 19.3% - from 2.64 to 3.15 lei/kWh. The cost of electricity for Premier Energy consumers whose electrical installations are connected to high voltage distribution power lines (35; 110 kW) increased from 2.16 to 2.68 lei/kWh (+24%), and for consumers whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution power lines (6; 10 kW) - from 2.3 to 2.81 lei/kWh (+22.2%). The cost of electricity at the entry points of Premier Energy transmission networks increased from 2 to 2.51 lei/kWh (+25.5%), and at the exit points of transmission networks - from 2.14 to 2.65 lei/kWh (+23.8%). To remind, this is the third increase of electric energy tariffs in 2022. On April 1, Premier Energy raised the tariff for residential consumers by 43.7% - from 1.51 to 2.17 lei per 1 kWh (excluding VAT), and from June 10 - by another 21.6% - from 2.17 to 2.64 lei per 1 kWh (excluding VAT). The last increase was made due to an increase in the purchase price of electricity, changes in the MDL/USD exchange rate, etc. // 17.10.2022 - InfoMarket
