
Premier Energy Distribution has selected all 5 companies that submitted applications for participation in a new tender for the purchase of electricity from April 1; companies are to submit now tender proposals.
As noted in the Premier Energy Distribution report, in particular, 5 potential suppliers and producers of electricity submitted their bids for the said tender and after evaluating their dossiers, all of them were included in the list of prequalified suppliers. These are the following companies: the Moldovan HPP, Energocom, D.Trading, DE Trading, Navitas Energy. All named companies have been included in the list of prequalified suppliers and will now have to submit their specific bids by March 16. As previously reported, after evaluating the dossier and compiling a list of prequalified suppliers admitted to bidding for the purchase of electricity, Premier Energy and Premier Energy Distribution will publish a task book (terms of reference) and send invitations to participate directly in the bidding. The next stage involves the submission and receipt of tender proposals, their assessment and negotiation of the final price. Further, the notification about the winner of the tender with the attachment of the electricity purchase and sale agreement, the publication of the auction results, including the volumes of contracted electricity and the price of electricity purchase, was agreed. As InfoMarket previously reported, the winner of the latest tender for the supply of electricity for Premier Energy and Premier Energy Distribution was the state-owned company Energocom, which pledged to supply electricity by March 31, 2021 at a price of $0.04865 per 1 kWh (excluding VAT). The matter concerns the supply of electricity from the Moldovan HPP. In general, three suppliers took part in the auction then: Energocom, DTEK Pavlogradugol and DE Trading. The Moldovan HPP has officially left the tender in favor of the supplier Energocom. After two rounds of negotiations, Energocom presented an improved proposal and was declared the winner of the electricity supply tender for Premier Energy.
