As reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, at the same time, according to the elements of the structure of work performed by construction organizations in January-December 2020, work on the construction of new objects prevailed, which amounted to 6 billion 604.3 million lei, having decreased by 3.4% compared to the same period in 2019, their share in the total volume of work performed was 47.1%. The volume of work on capital repairs in 2020, relative to 2019, increased by 5.7% - to 3 billion 638.2 million lei (26% of the total volume of work performed), while the volume of work on maintenance and current repair increased by 18.5% - up to 3 billion 547.8 million lei (25.3% of the total). The volume of other works decreased by 3.7% - to 218 million lei (1.6% of the total). According to the NBS, by construction objects, the volume of work performed during the construction of residential buildings in 2020, compared to the previous year, decreased by 6.4% - to 3 billion 356.6 million lei, during the construction of non-residential buildings - decreased by 5.9% - to 3 billion 812.4 million lei, and during the construction of engineering structures - increased by 17.4% - up to 6 billion 621.3 million lei. // 23.02.2021 - InfoMarket.
