The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) informed that, in particular, at the end of December 2020, loans in national currency amounted to 31 billion 735.1 million lei out of the total amount of loans of 45 billion 649.2 million lei. Thus, about 69.5% of the total amount of loans issued by banks of Moldova at the end of December 2020 was in MDL (69.3% a month earlier). Loans in EUR in terms of MDL amounted to 10 billion 962.6 million lei, (24% of the total amount against 23.7% a month earlier). At the same time, loans in USD in terms of MDL at the end of December 2020 amounted to 2 billion 951.5 million lei. In the total volume, their share, compared to the previous month, decreased from 7% to 6.5%. Loans in other currencies were extremely insignificant. According to the NBM, the largest amount of loans in MDL at the end of December 2020 was issued by: Moldova-Agroindbank - 10.2 billion lei (a month earlier - 9.97 billion), Moldindconbank - 6.28 billion lei (6.19 billion), Mobiasbanca OTP Group - 5.53 billion lei (5.35 billion), Victoriabank - 3.43 billion lei (3.39 billion), ProCredit Bank - 1.86 billion lei (1.79 billion), Eximbank - 1.22 billion lei (1.21 billion), FinComBank - 1.17 billion lei (1.16 billion). Loans in USD (in MDL equivalent) at the end of December 2020 were the most issued: Moldova-Agroindbank - 1.25 billion lei (a month earlier - 1.34 billion), Moldindconbank - 530.4 million lei (574.2 million) , Mobiasbanca OTP Group - 429.1 million lei (476.8 million), Victoriabank - 227.4 million lei (231.7 million), ProCredit Bank - 191.6 million lei (200.1 million).
