The Customs Service transferred 957.9 million lei to the budget over the past week, up 11.5% compared to the previous week, and 21.9 billion lei since the beginning of the year

According to the Customs Service, over the past week, from July 6 to 12, approximately 2.2% (nearly 21 million lei) of the total amount came from individuals who imported goods into Moldova in excess of the tax-free limits. Customs officials processed 12,400 declarations, and vehicles crossed the state border 73,800 times. The heaviest traffic was at the Leuşeni and Sculeni customs posts—18,200 and, respectively, about 15,300 vehicle crossings.
