Chisinau taxi drivers were fined 36,000 lei
From December 8 to 12, the State Tax Service, the National Road Transport Agency, and the National Public Safety Inspectorate conducted 39 operational checks in the field of passenger transportation by taxi in Chisinau. Inspectors found that some taxi drivers were not using cash registers. In six cases, fines of 5,400 lei were imposed for not using cash registers. Another 19 drivers who were illegally transporting passengers were fined 30,000 lei.
