As reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS), Turkey topped the list of countries with the highest monthly inflation in January 2026 with 4.8%. It is followed by Georgia with 1.2%. The Czech Republic ranked third, with monthly inflation in January 2026 slightly exceeding 0.9%. Moldova ranked fourth with 0.9%. Next came Iceland and Croatia, where monthly inflation in the first month of 2026 was 0.4% and 0.3%, respectively. At the same time, a number of countries recorded deflation in January 2026.
