Investments in long-term assets in Moldova amounted to 24 billion 949 million lei for the first nine months of 2025, up 17% from the same period in 2024
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS), as reported to the InfoMarket agency, investments in long-term intangible assets in January-September 2025 amounted to 1 billion 187.5 million lei and increased by 55.2% against the same period of the previous year. At the same time, investments in long-term tangible assets increased by 15.5% to 23 billion 761.4 million lei (95.2% of the total). According to BNS, investments in machinery and equipment amounted to 7 billion 943.4 million lei (+15.1% against the same period in 2024) in the first nine months of 2025. Investments in residential construction in January-September 2025 amounted to 3 billion 682.7 million lei (+26.2%), in non-residential housing (buildings and structures) – 3 billion 323 million lei (+7%), in engineering structures – 3 billion 811.3 million (+13%), in vehicles – 2 billion 977.9 million lei (+5.7%), in other tangible assets – 2 billion 023.1 million lei (+39.5%).
