The contributions of the State Tax Service to the national public budget of Moldova in the first half of 2024 was 34.7 billion lei, exceeding by 11.6% (+3.6 billion) the figures for the same period in 2023.
The State Tax Service reported this, noting that, at the same time, tax revenues to the state budget for 6 months in 2024 amounted to 12.4 billion lei, being higher than the figures for the same period of the previous year by 848.4 million lei (+6.3%). At the same time, the budgets of administrative-territorial units in January-June 2024 received 3.9 billion lei in taxes, which is 427.9 million lei (12.4%) more than in the same period in 2023. The state social insurance budget in the first half of 2024 collected taxes worth 12.3 billion lei, which is 1.8 billion lei (16.9%) more than in the same period a year earlier. Contributions accumulated by the State Tax Service to the Mandatory Health Insurance Funds for 6 months in 2024 amounted to 4.1 billion lei, up by 544.1 million lei (+15.3%) compared to the same period of the previous year. // 03.07.2024 – InfoMarket.
