This was reported by the State Tax Service, noting that from April 15 to 26, an expert from the International Monetary Fund, Telita Snyckers, is on a mission to the State Tax Service, who will provide support in strengthening institutional capacity to manage the risks of non-compliance with tax obligations and provide relevant training. At the beginning of the mission, State Tax Service Director Olga Golban and State Tax Service Deputy Director Valeriu Vlas met with Telita Snickers, discussing her program of activities for the next 2 weeks, as well as the goals that the parties planned to achieve. The Director of the State Tax Service expressed gratitude to the IMF experts for the constant support provided to the tax authority, emphasizing that through joint efforts the set goals will be achieved, the main goal of which is the efficiency of tax administration and maximizing the results of actions taken by the State Tax Service. Olga Golban noted that the State Tax Service pays special attention to the optimization and efficiency of risk system management. In turn, Telita Snyckers drew attention to the fact that the State Tax Service has made progress in various areas of activity outlined by bilateral cooperation, while at the same time highly appreciating the openness of the institution towards taxpayers. Regarding risk management of non-compliance with tax requirements, the IMF expert noted that this process is very important for all activities of the State Tax Service, and data analysis is very helpful even in finding solutions. Also during the mission, the IMF expert will discuss with members of the compliance risk management committee of the State Tax Service issues related to its composition, regulations, tasks, meetings, reporting and decision-making, progress on the risk register, and will also consider the progress of the plan to improve compliance requirements in various sectors of the national economy. During the mission, a number of trainings on the risk management system will be conducted.
