In Q1 2024, the State Tax Service transferred 17 billion lei to the Moldovan budget, which is 8.8% more than in the same period of 2023.
According to the State Tax Service (STS), revenues to the state budget of Moldova administered by the STS for 3 months of 2024 amounted to about 7.6 billion lei, which is 1.4% more than the same indicators for 2023. Tax revenues to the budgets of administrative-territorial units in January- March 2024 increased by 10.7%, amounting to 1.7 billion lei. The State Tax Service transferred 5.8 billion lei (+17.4%) to the state social insurance budget, and 1.9 billion lei (+15.3%) to the mandatory health insurance funds. As noted by the State Tax Service, on March 25, a record was registered for the daily amount of tax contributions to the state budget - 1.19 billion lei, which is 156.1 million lei more than the highest daily figure for budget contributions last year. // 02.04.2024 — InfoMarket
