From January 1, 2023, new rules for the stay of cars with foreign numbers are in force in Moldova.
According to the Customs Service, from this year, resident and non-resident individuals will be able to import vehicles into Moldova for a period of up to 180 days within 12 consecutive months. Previously, drivers with permanent residence in a foreign country with foreign driver's licenses could import cars with foreign numbers for up to 3 years.
