Vasile Tofan emphasized that Elena Țîbîrnă has a thorough understanding of the practical aspects of accounting, including how tax obligations impact a company's day-to-day operations. This experience gives her the necessary authority and expertise to transform the State Tax Service into a partner for conscientious entrepreneurs, as well as an effective tool for combating tax evasion. As noted, Olga Golban will continue to work at the State Tax Service as deputy director. The Prime Minister noted that continuity is essential, especially in an institution as critical to the state budget as this one. At the same time, Ion Dodon, who previously served as director of the National Health Insurance Company, was appointed head of the Public Property Agency. At the same time, Andrei Uncută—the former director of the Republican Clinical Hospital, who was relieved today of his duties as State Secretary of the Ministry of Health—was appointed as the new head of the National Health Insurance Company, replacing Ion Dodon. The Prime Minister emphasized that Andrei Uncută led the hospital during its most challenging period—the pandemic—and expressed confidence that he would ensure a balance between the stability of the system and the necessary structural changes. Meanwhile, Radu Mustață, who previously headed the National Agency for Food Safety and served for several days as Minister of Agriculture and the Food Industry, was appointed to the position of head of the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA). Vasile Tofan explained that some executives are being transferred to other agencies because they have achieved very good results in their current positions, and the government wants them to channel that same energy into transforming other important agencies.
